^Lot 1471 Hal Roach

Successful American picture producer (1892–1992) best known for his association with Laurel and Hardy and the Our Gang series of films. Fantastic vintage sepia glossy 10 x 8 Stax Graves publicity photo of the producer going over the script for Fisherman’s Luck with Irvin Cobb, boldly signed and inscribed in black ink “To Fred, Regards, Hal Roach.” Reverse bears promotional information and an official stamp from Hal Roach’s studio photographer “Stax.” In fine condition, with small tear to lower border repaired on the reverse, slight curling to horizontal edges, and a few scattered creases.
